Here are interesting photography reviews, guides, and lessons I’ve learned from or felt were worth sharing. I currently shoot with Sony Alpha cameras and lenses, having moved from Canon roughly 5 years ago.

The best camera I’ve found is the Sony a7r IV. It beats everything I’ve seen from Canon and others. My goto walk around lens is the 24-105mm F/4 G zoom lens which produces fantastic photographs in almost any scenario. For astrophotography check out the Sony 20mm f/1.8 G lens that’s new in 2020.

For portraits, I highly recommend the Sony 85mm f/1.8 prime lens. The bokeh is amazing and you can get very crisp, clear pictures with the eye focus.
